Split a song into stems.
Suede Studio Music splits a finished track into separate stems you can download and drop into your DAW: a two-track vocal and instrumental split, or a four-track split into vocals, drums, bass and other. Split a render the moment it lands, or come back to any track you made in Studio later. You get the parts, not just the bounce.
Two splits, one price
| Split | Stems you get | Built for |
|---|---|---|
| Stems2-track split | Vocals, Instrumental | Edits, karaoke and quick remixes |
| Stems Pro4-track split | Vocals, Drums, Bass, Other | Remixing, sampling and re-production |
Both splits cost the same: 100 credits, two songs’ worth, since a render is 50. A split draws from the same credit balance as your renders, and if the balance is short, Studio asks you to top up before it starts the job.
Where to start a split
- Right after a render. When a track finishes in Create, the Pressing & Delivery panel shows a “Split this track into stems” control under it. Pick Stems or Stems Pro and press Split.
- From your library, any time. Open the Stems tab in Create. Stems Studio lists the tracks in your library; pick one you made in Studio, or paste a Studio track link or its clip id, and split it without rendering anything new. The split runs on the track’s clip id, so it works on tracks made in Suede, not on outside audio files.
Either way you split while signed in to your Suede account, by email or with a wallet, so each split is charged to your account and its results show up only for you.
What happens during a split
- Studio prices the split on the server, charges your credits once, and starts the job. If the job cannot be started, the credits go straight back to your balance.
- A split usually takes a minute or two. Studio checks on the job every eight seconds while you keep working, and the results land in the same panel.
- Each finished stem is copied into Suede’s own storage and listed by part (Vocals, Instrumental, Drums, Bass or Other) with a Download button. Every stem is its own MP3 file.
Your stems stay private to you
Every split is tied to the account that started it. Checking a split’s status takes a token bound to that signed-in account and that job, so no other member can look up your split or its stems.

What to do with them
Drop the stems into your DAW and re-mix the track, chop it, flip it or master it your way. Use the vocal and instrumental pair for edits, karaoke versions and quick remixes; use the four-track set when you want to rebuild the drums, swap the bass or sample a single part.
